In 2026 Sustain and Eating Better launched the first ever JEDI (justice, equity, diversity and inclusion) leadership programme in the sustainable food and farming sector, funded by Farming the Future.
The six-month programme has been expertly designed to move beyond EDI and focus on advancing systemic change and creating a cultural shift which will have a ripple effect across the sector.
Organisations participating in the programme are Better Food Traders, Biteback, Eating Better, Farming the Future, Food Ethics Council, Food Foundation, Foodrise, Nourish Scotland, Obesity Health Alliance, Soil Association, SOS UK and Sustain.
This programme is being facilitated by Letesia Gibson at New Ways with programme management support from Sareta Puri, Sustain and Idman Abdurahaman, Eating Better.
