The voices of parents and carers are crucial to policy making on the future of children’s health and the food they eat. Our Children’s Food Ambassador programme provides opportunities for parents to share experience and ideas and make their voices heard on issues affecting children’s health and food.

This is a voluntary panel of parents and carers who share their insights on children’s food, health, and daily challenges, helping shape our campaigns and the messages we take to Government, regulators, industry and the media. The programme offers opportunity to meet other parents and carers across the country to exchange ideas and contribute directly to improving the food environment for children.

Want to become a Children’s Food Ambassador?

If you’re a parent or carer with a child / children under 18, you can apply to be part of our programme, where we make your voice heard on the food issues which matter to you and your children.

We’re especially keen to hear from parents and carers with direct experience of navigating some of the inequalities of access to healthy, affordable, sustainable and culturally appropriate food for their families and children.
