Sustain have been supporting councils in London to drive change in their local areas for over 13 years through our benchmarking work, Good Food for all Londoners.
Over the years, we developed a framework to help local authorities track, progress and celebrate local food work, spanning policy areas that sit under several departments, with the goal of supporting residents to access affordable, healthy and climate and nature friendly food.
Almost all councils in London participate in what is now Good Food Local London, and we run the project with support of the Mayor of London, GLA and other regional partners.
As part of our roll out of this approach to other local authorities in the UK, we have conducted an independent evaluation of the impact of Good Food Local in London.
Join this webinar to find out more from independent evaluators, The University of Nottingham, including:
- An introduction to the study and methodology, and supporting literature review
- Key findings of how Good Food Local has had an impact on London councils and food work
- Opportunities for future development of Good Food Local
