Professor David Russell
Professor David Russell of The Russell Partnership, is one of the co-authors of the Food Vision for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and also the United Nation (UN) guidelines for sustainable food within UN operations. The Russell Partnership is a consultancy delivering forward thinking solutions for the development of sustainable food, events and leisure operations.
Professor David Russell encourages food, events and leisure organisations to improve the sustainability of their food. His message on sustainable fish is: "Capitalise your personal effort and influence to raise awareness and deliver for London another unique achievement: The first Sustainable Fish City. This is achievable by 2012 with your personal passion and influence."
The Russell Partnership was recently instrumental in helping the UN commit to adopting a sustainable fish policy for its meetings and events.
