If you live in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, Norfolk or Suffolk, you live in a megafarm hotspot. The government wants to make it easier to build even more - here's how to stop them.

US-style megafarms are multiplying at an alarming rate, destroying our countryside and precious ecosystems. With profits flowing out of local areas, this type of farming leaves rural communities with fewer jobs and filthy rivers.

The government should be making it easier for our local farmers to produce sustainably, and harder for Big Ag to take over.

But they just announced new planning rules that will open up the countryside to even more factory farms. Please ask your local MP to step in.

Please take 2 minutes to email your MP if you live in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Telford and Wrekin, Norfolk or Suffolk. Tell them to support local, nature-friendly farming instead.

The deadline for consultation closes Tuesday 10 March.
