Manchester Edible Gardens Open Day

On Saturday 19 September, seven community food gardens in Manchester are celebrating their harvest with an open day for the public.

Visitors from across the city are invited to drop in, ask questions, taste produce or getting involved in growing their own.

The events are featured on a new map of the cities edible gardens, created by Sow the City and Growing Manchester, in partnership with the Big Dig network, based at charity Sustain.  The map also helps people to find gardens to volunteer at throughout the year.
