Over the last quarter, more food co-op films –- of True Food Co-op and student food co-ops in Brighton and Sussex – have been completed and published on the online video channel Vimeo and Sustain’s YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/sustainuk.
The Food Co-ops website www.foodcoops.org has been redesigned to make it easier to navigate and in this quarter, there were over 33,500 views of pages. When we were undertaking media activity, web visits rose from an average of 200 to 500 per day, up to around 2,300 per day.
We have continued to help new and existing food co-ops across the country including Bolsover Fruit & Veg Co-op, Buxton Veg and Fruit Co-op, and Weston Super Mare Food Buying Group. The regional food co-op advisers have also continued to organise and attend various regional events and training courses.
