Originally written for public sector organisations but applicable to anywhere where food is served, we've tried to make the templare as comprehensive as possible. The template format allows organisations to work at their own pace, inserting their own deadlines and percentages - you don't have to try and do everything at once!
Regular reviews of the policy, involving the people involved in the buying, preparation and, very importantly, eating of the food, are however a must.
Your customers will be delighted to know you have a sustainable food policy, so don't lock the policy away, do as the Duke of Cambridge pub do and find ways to tell them what you're currently doing and striving towards.
