Luton Food Poverty Alliance

Groundwork have been coordinating the development of the alliance in partnership with the Public Health team at Luton and are acting at the central coordinating body. Our work in Luton is focusing on the development of local Community Food Hubs in areas of high deprivation with the objectives of addressing local issues of food poverty, deprivation and poor nutrition. A large part of our work is the provision of 'fresh produce' to individuals and families on low incomes or at risk of destitution.
