Feeding Liverpool

Feeding Liverpool is an ecumenical group which brings people together who are concerned about hunger and food insecurity in Liverpool. Our aims are to a) create arenas for practitioners to share and shape good practices in relation to tackling hunger and food insecurity in Liverpool; b) draw on experiences from the ground to contribute to and influence policy debates locally and nationally and c) raise awareness and develop greater public understanding of food policy and related issues.

Members: Feeding Liverpool is a network of 260+ organisations. Steering group members include: Dr Hillary Russell (co-chair), Bishop John Rawsthorne (co-chair) Kevin Peacock (St Andrews Community Network including North Liverpool foodbank and Your Local Pantry network North Liverpool), Marie Reynolds (Nugent Care), Sharon Deverdie (Nugent Care), Fr Chris Fallon (Liverpool Archdiocese), Annette James (Micah Liverpool) and Dr Naomi Maynard (Together Liverpool).
