The Eat Somerset project ran from 2007 to 2009, to increase the amount of local and sustainable food used by food outlets in the southwest. Sustain's work on local food is now pursued through the Making Local Food Work programme and the Local Action on Food network.
Eat Somerset: From 2006 to 2009 Sustain co-ordinated a food chain project in south west England that worked to increase trading between producer groups in and around Somerset and independent food retailers in the county, and create new markets in Bristol and Bath.
