The Port Grocery CIC

A community shop will divert food from landfill, reducing food waste, and provide low cost, high quality food for a community faced by the multiple challenges of deprivation, including food and fuel poverty. This project will also provide an opportunity for members to gain an understanding of services available to them. The shop team will also seek to understand unmet needs within the community. This understanding will enable wrap-around services to be designed and provided to meet these needs.
