Bournemouth & Poole Sustainable Food City Partnership

The Food Poverty Alliance has been established under the umbrella of the Sustainable Food City Partnership to further the strategic aim of developing a city where everyone, no matter their situation can readily access sustainable, nutritious food and where food poverty has been eradicated.

Members: We have over 900 Partnership members including local people, businesses, voluntary and community groups and public sector organisations. Our key members include Public Health Dorset, Bournemouth Council, Borough of Poole, Poole Housing Partnership, Bournemouth University, Transition Towns, Bournemouth 2026 Trust, Faithworks Wessex, Dorset Fire and Rescue, Waste Not Want Not and Bourne Asset Management.

Established: This group started meeting in June 2017, although a previous group began meeting in 2014.
