In its Food City Plan, the partnership has committed to a range of objectives, including: - Increasing the amount of healthy fruit and veg consumed in the city - Establishing long-term alternatives to food banks and emergency food aid - Increasing available land for local food production - Supporting and establishing local initiatives to minimise food waste - Establishing better communication between producers, retailers and consumers - Engaging the public in community activities around food
