Sustainable Communities Network

Sustainable Communities Network is dedicated to contributing to the development of the theory and practice of sustainable living and endeavors to educate, inspire, build, create and empower sustainable cities. SCN seeks to provide the ideas, programs and tools that inspire community members to bring about systemic changes in all of our institutions that are necessary to create sustainable cities. Founded by the environmental activist Jim Embry, SCN is also composed of community projects such as Winburn Neighborhood Community Garden, Isaac Murphy Memorial Art Garden, Youth Green Corps of Lexington
