Local Action on Food is supported by the Making Local Food Work programme and funded by the Big Lottery Changing Spaces programme. The Making Local Food Work programme aims to reconnect people and land through local food by increasing access to fresh, healthy, local food with clear, traceable origins.
Sustain coordinates the Food Co-ops and Food Distribution and Supply areas of work under the Making local Food Work programme. Free advice is also available on enterprise support, governance, community supported agriculture, community shops and Country Markets.
