North East Food Access Forum
The Food Access Network helped to coordinate the North East Food Access Forum (NEFAF) from Autumn 2007 to January 2008. The NEFAF is a network of organisations and individuals promoting access to fresh, affordable, sustainable and culturally appropriate food in the North East region. It is a forum for the exchange of information and advice between projects and networks in the region. It aims to have an influential regional ‘voice’ on addressing the issues of ‘good food’ access for all in the North East and seeks to develop a co-ordinated regional approach to work around food and health.
The forum meets regularly every few of months in different locations throughout the North East region. The forum is open to anyone in the area with an interest or involvement in food access and always welcomes new members.
North East Food Access Forum Meetings:
- 31st January 2008, Quaker Meeting House, Newcastle
