There are many ways to support Sustain's work to achieve a sustainable food and farming system, and some ideas are shown on our 'how to get involved' page. Another important way you can help Sustain is financially.
Independence is very important to Sustain so we never accept funding from sources that would compromise, or appear to compromise that. That is why we do not accept money from privately owned businesses that are wholly or mainly agriculture or food-related.
Of course, this means that budgets are always tight, so we keep efficient financial and administrative systems to reduce running costs, but without compromising quality and accountability.
Some of our work is supported by charitable foundations, the Big Lottery, or government departments or agencies. However, campaign activities are notoriously difficult to raise funds for - changing something for the long term is always more challenging than creating a temporary fix.
If you can help with a donation, however big or small, we would be pleased to hear from you. Every little helps!
