This webinar provided an update on what is included in the different winter welfare assistance schemes available across the UK and brought food poverty alliances and partnerships together to discuss how we can ensure this support really delivers for those in need.
The UK Government have announced the new Covid Winter Grant scheme for England, this is alongside other existing schemes across the four Nations. However, with lots of new announcements, different support across the UK and varying restrictions in place, it's easy to lose track of what's available where and how it is being used to support those in need. This webinar provided some clarity by discussing:
