Food is one of the great pleasures of life. Learning about food can be a pleasure too, and it is also an essential skill. And it's a skill you can have a go at and get better at all the time. Eating well is vital to good health all th rough life. We all need to know how to feed ourselves enjoyably and healthily by the time we leave school. The Get Cooking! project - run in 1993, wanted everyone to gain and enjoy these skills. This guide was produced for anyone who wants to learn to cook
and for anyone who wants to teach others to get cooking.
