First of three workshops as part of a new Sustain programme for the food and farming sector.
A two hour workshop looking at moving beyond the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion framework and into anti-racism in the sustainable food and farming sector.
The Race Report and The two sides of diversity highlighted the lack of diversity in the sector. However, diversity is more than a numbers game. We cannot just increase the diversity in the sector without first creating inclusive and equitable workplaces.
Join us on the first of 3 training sessions to look at how to become truly anti-racist and embed these practices for meaningful and long lasting change.
In this interactive workshop we will -
- Outline language and terms
- Set the context, showing the links between racial justice and food justice
- Work together on problem solving scenarios
- Create a supportive space for meaningful knowledge exchange
- Move towards meaningful action with pledges and tangible ideas for your organisation.
- Discuss further support for this journey
Pre-reading and resources will be provided for additional support.
