Uprising against Oxfordshire hospital kitchen closures gathers pace

Local campaigners ramp up the pressure to stop kitchen closures at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust comes under increasing pressure from local campaigners to halt its planned closure of hospital kitchens.

Campaigners have handed in a petition to the Trust in opposition to the kitchen closures and it has also been revealed that:

  • 7 out of 10 local people oppose the kitchen closures
  • 7 out of 10 local people want the Trust to consult patients and local members of the public before taking a decision about the closures, and
  • the closure of the kitchens will save £300,000 a year, equivalent to only 0.1% of the Trust's budget

You can also help by signing the petition and completing this short survey.
