Campaign launched to protect hospital kitchens in Luton

UNISON is leading local efforts to stop the closure of kitchens at Luton and Dunstable Hospital.

The NHS workers' representative fears that the closures will cost jobs, damage the quality of hospital meals and forever cuts ties with local suppliers of fresh food.

UNISON has launched a petition and is encouraging people to sign it in opposition to the plans. To sign the petition visit here and to read the full article in Luton Today see here.

Sustain runs the Campaign for Better Hospital Food which is helping to support local efforts to stop hospital kitchen closures in England.
