Sustain member FareShare have brought together the food industry and food retailers for the UK's first ever Surplus Food Summit.
The summit was supported by the British Retail Consortium, the Food and Drink Federation and the Fresh Produce Consortium. FareShare have reported the biggest ever increase in surplus food it has received from industry. See Sustain's work with the FoodSave project.
