A new study commissioned by Natural England recommends fresh measures to promote care farming on prescription.
The study, publicised by Sustain member the Federation of City Farms and Community Gardens, found that there was scope for care farms such as city farms to expand their services. However, many care commissioners and users are unaware of these organisations which provide health, social and educational care programmes for vulnerable people. See a full list of Sustain members.
