Working Party

The working party is run by Sustain and is made up of public sector catering managers and relevant government and non government bodies who meet to discuss progress and network.

Topics for discussion normally focus around what is happening with Good Food on the Public Plate as well as other public sector sustainable food projects. Public sector organisations that are just starting to think about introducing sustainable food are very welcome to attend to find out how others have found suppliers and worked through legislation, invoicing and any other other concerns they may have.

The meetings have an emphasis on guiding the Good Food on the Public Plate project officers as well as sharing knowledge to prevent unnecessary duplication in the work being done on public procurement of sustainable food.
