Teacher's notes
The following extracts from literature
all are based around the subject of fruit and vegetables.
Some of the texts are easier than others and it is up to the
teacher to decide which ones are at an appropriate level for
the class they teach. Wherever possible bring in samples of
the fruits and vegetables described in the texts to provide
the children with an opportunity to learn about and taste
them.
