Step 1. Get official support
To get written support for the project, write to the Director of
the Local Education Authority (LEA) and the Director of the Primary
Care Trust (PCT). Having been given the go ahead, identify and secure
support from a lead contact from both education and health. From
education it could be the Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship
Education teacher advisor (PSHCE) and from health it could be someone
from Health Promotion, but take local advice as the most appropriate
person might vary from area to area.
