www.coolfoodplanet.org - and interactive website for children from the European Food Information Council (a non-profit organisation that receives funding from industry).
www.eurohealth.ie/nutrit/index2.htm - A website from the European Institute of Women's Health (a non-governmental organisation working to make the health and well being of women a priority for the European Commission and Member States of the European Union).
www.exhibits.pacsci.org/nutrition - an interactive nutrition website for kids from the US-based Pacific Science Center which aims to bring science and children together. Funded by donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
www.galaxy-h.gov.uk - a Department of Health and Department for Education and Skills website aimed at Key Stage 2 children (7-11 year olds) covering health issues and the main areas of personal, social and health education (PSHE) and citizenship set out in the National Curriculum. Includes pages for teachers and parents as well as children.
www.girlpower.gov - a US government sponsored website aimed at 9-13 year olds girls encourage positive attitudes towards health.
www.kidfood.org - resources for kids, teachers and parents from the Connecticut Association for Human Services.
www.thefruitpages.com - a website run on a not-for-profit basis offering information about fruit, including history, storage, uses, varieties, and nutritional values.

www.foodinschools.org - provides materials to support promoting and implementing a whole school approach to healthier eating and drinking.
www.hdra.org.uk/schools_organic_network/index.htm - organic gardening information and resources for schools from HDRA - The Organic Organisation.
www.j-sainsbury.co.uk/education/tasteofsuccess/primary.htm - a scheme run by Sainsbury's supermarket in conjunction with the British Nutrition Foundation and Design and Technology Association involving a food award scheme for pupils aged 9-14 years and web based food information which provides seven product case studies highlighting different aspects of food technology, nutrition, food safety and food labelling. The latest case study for both primary and secondary pupils features English apples and a fresh fruit salad.

www.vegsoc.org - a website from the charity, the Vegetarian Society, that provides nutrition information and recipes.
www.waitrose.com/foodexplorers - an education initiative by the supermarket, Waitrose, that aims to promote and enhance the way primary school children learn about food, in particular fruit and vegetables. Teacher's notes and materials available on the website.
