Food Buyers

With the growing interest in local food, retailers and caterers are often being asked by their customers to supply local produce. This guide, produced by the Eat Somerset Project, provides details of local food producers in Somerset and areas close to Bristol and Bath that are interested in supplying to local retailers either directly, or through wholesalers. Many of the producers can also supply caterers (cafés, restaurants, hotels), public sector organisations (schools, hospitals) and wholesalers. This is clearly shown on their entry in the directory.

We hope that it will be useful to you and would welcome any feedback on the content, layout for ease of use, any other local producers you are aware of who may like to be listed, and any success stories or difficulties in terms of developing local supply chains.
